The quarry was opened in 1889 as the Clark County Mill, a natural cement producer, with a production capacity of 900 barrels of cement per day from seven kilns. The operation has evolved into one of the largest producers of limestone in the state.

The plant is capable of producing 12 different products simultaneously. Modern crushing and screening operation located on an 800 acre site. Current mining is conducted in the Jeffersonville, Louisville, and Laurel formations producing quality limestone products for construction and industry.

We are an approved CAPP source for Indiana Department of Transportation and the Kentucky Department of Transportation for all types of aggregate products.

Standard specification material is maintained in stock with custom specification material available. Production management has a total accumulation of 53 years mining experience and philosophy that quality costs nothing and we will only produce products one way, the.........right way!

An on site asphalt plant is part of the facilities operation with a 550 tons per hour operating rate and a storage capacity of 1700 tons. Annual production from the asphalt site is among the highest in the state.
